Introductory Prayer

Father, you created me and put me on earth for a purpose. Jesus, you died for me and call me to complete your work. Holy Spirit, you help me to carry out the work for which I was created and called. In your presence and name—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—I begin my reflection. May all my thoughts and inspirations have their origin in you and be directed to your glory.

Wednesday of the Sixth Week of Easter

By the Holy Spirit, we become children of the Father, members of the Body of Christ, receive Our Lady as a Mother, and brethren with the Communion of saints. By that same Spirit we receive the Body and Blood of Jesus in Holy Communion, and receive the Spirit Himself in Confirmation: through the Holy Spirit, all that belongs to Jesus is declared to us. Today we may reflect on all that we have received from Jesus through the Holy Spirit: more than we could have dreamed to ask, and yet more to come.
