“Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known,” says the Lord. As with everything he says, these are words meant to bring comfort, but they may end up having the opposite effect. In the end, will I not be exposed for what I really am? Before fear comes to take over, let us not forget what has already been revealed. Jesus has come to reveal our Father as one who is caring, providential, concerned with the life of his children. Living from this truth, we may be more ready to accept and reveal before God and before others our need for love, healing, and life, and we may be more ready to acknowledge God as the one who gives and will give us all that is good.
