Thursday of the Second Week of Easter

How do we know that God is trustworthy? Jesus tells us today that it is through accepting his very own testimony. Jesus, by his life, his words, his teachings, his death, and his Resurrection testifies that God can be trusted. He became flesh, dwelt among us, healed our infirmities, loved the unlovable. He suffered and died, yes. But that was not the end of the story. He was raised on the third day.

The story goes on. Still, he accompanies, heals, loves us. Suffering and death exist, but his love prevails.

What does your life, your words, your actions and hopes give testimony to?

May our lives give testimony to the Truth: God is trustworthy.
